It’s hard to escape the queues at events that bring 100,000 people together in one space, and the first day of Rock in Rio was no different. They were trained in canteens, drinking fountains, official shops and, mainly, in sponsorship activations. At least until the late afternoon, however, there were no complaints about them.
This is because, despite the agglomeration, almost no one has wasted much time has stopped. The exception was an action by Itaú, which traditionally distributes Rock in Rio collectible mugs. At one of the distribution points, the queue gathered hundreds of people and even turned around.
In rocky road, in some places there were small queues for the purchase of snacks, which however did not last more than a few minutes. The same can be seen in the cafes scattered around the City of the rock and in stores that sell official products.
Lucky for those who love games. In Game arena, where you can play classic pinball machines or modern video games, without queuing up all afternoon. There were empty cars and movement was free. All this under the air conditioning, which was a great refreshment for a hot afternoon in Rio.
