Vocalist mentioned energetic show and a lot of excitement from The Offspring in return to Brazil
Dexter Hollandlead singer and guitarist of the group The Offspring, showed all his love for Brazil in an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone Brazil. The band performs in Rio de Janeiro next Thursday, September 8th, and the members seem excited to deliver (another) energetic show.
The musician was in a studio in Vancouver (Canada), where he works on the group’s next project, and sent a message to the Brazilian audience: “We are very, very excited. Brazil is amazing in general and we love playing there because people have a lot of passion. You should hear it from every band, but it really is true. The audience goes crazy during the show, especially with our style of music. The shows are amazing.”

The Offspring brings his latest album, the first in almost 10 years, Let the Bad Times Roll (2021) for the tour, but the next news shouldn’t take that long and may include Brazil. dexter recalled that he likes to write songs “for people to sing out loud,” and then revealed that he works in honor of the country.
I can’t give too many details, but I’m writing a song about Brazil for our next record. Believe it or not. No kidding, it’s going to be about Brazil, and I can’t wait to share it with you, hopefully, next year. This shows how much you mean to us.
Let the Bad Times Roll shows hope for the group, which plays in Brazil for the first time after quarantine recommendations around the world. Listen:
