Paramore releases new music and reveals details of the next record; Look

After a long wait, Paramore finally revealed the Paramore album era and released the lead single this Wednesday, 28

After much waiting, Paramorewho is due to come to Brazil in 2023, released an unreleased song entitled “This Is Why,” as well as details of the band’s upcoming studio album Hayley Williams (vocal), taylor york (guitar) and Zac Farro (drums).

Also titled This Is Whythe sixth studio album is the successor to After Laughter (2017) and won a release date: February 10, 2023. It is worth remembering how the group returns to the stage still in 2022, on October 2, but with a more intimate tour of North America.

The next disc Paramore was produced in Los Angeles by Carlos de la Garza and will feature ten tracks in all. However, the tracklist official has not yet been revealed by the band. In a press release, Hayley Williams talked about the single “This Is Why.”

“‘This Is Why‘ was the last song we wrote for the album. To be honest, I was tired of writing lyrics, but taylor convinced me and Zac that we should work on that last idea,” he said. “What came out of that was the title track of the entire album. It sums up the myriad of emotions, the roller coaster ride of being alive in 2022, having survived even if it’s just the last three or four years.”

You would think how after a global pandemic of biblical proportions and the imminent destruction of a dying planet, that humans would have found within themselves a kinder or more empathetic way of life or something like that.

Also released this Wednesday, the 28th, the music video for the song is directed by Brendan Yatesmember of turnstile – and Williams talked about the production and partnership. “It was so nice to work with Brendan. I know the guys from turnstile a while ago and was so excited for our worlds to collide in this way.”

There’s a nice kinship between the way our bands do things… I hope we get to play shows with them at some point.
