The rapper has caused a stir on social media since he wore a T-shirt with the words White Lives Matter.

or Instagram and the twitter limited the invoices by the American rapper Kanye West after he posted comments denounced as anti-Semitic.

A Twitter spokesperson told AFP on Sunday that the artist’s account was blocked due to a Violation of the rules of social networks.

And a spokesperson for Meta, the parent company of Instagram, told AFP that the group removed the content – but didn’t specify which ones – from West’s account for violating its rules.

Additionally, according to the same source, Instagram has restricted West’s account, which could prevent him from posting, commenting or sending private messages.

The rapper has caused quite a stir on social media since he wore a White Lives Matter t-shirt during Paris Fashion Week.

It is an appropriation of the famous slogan Black lives matter (Black Lives Matter), emblematic during the anti-racist protests of summer 2020 in the United States and an allusion to the movement.

On Instagram, West, 45, posted screenshots of conversations with rapper Diddy on Friday, who criticized the shirt and his message.

“I’ll use you as an example to show the Jews who told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me,” wrote Kanye West. The post has been deleted.

Then, on Twitter, the artist said he would attack Jews in a tweet that was no longer accessible and the social network claimed that the message violated its rules.

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) has accused the West of promoting “hatred of Jews”.
