The band Armas and Rosaswho toured Brazil in September, including a tour to São Paulo and Rock In Rio, announced the launch of a commemorative album box Use your illusion I and IIsince 1991, a 11 November.

The compilation will contain a total of 97 songs, 63 of which are unreleased. The original albums contained big hits from Axl Rose’s band, such as Don’t cry, live and let die, stranger, civil war, yesterday And Knocking on the door of heaven.

November rain, another nine-minute blockbuster from the group, has a newly recorded version, with a 50-piece orchestra, directed and organized by Grammy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter Christopher Lennertz. The version can now be heard on digital platforms.

The album will have versions recorded live at the Ritz Theater in New York in 1991, such as You could be Mine. Another surprise of this recording is the participation of Shannon Hoon, singer of Blind Mellon who died in 1995, in the songs Do not Cry And You are not the first.

The new edition tracks will hit the market with fully remastered original audio for the first time, from transferring from analog master tapes to a high-resolution audio setup.

Historical

Use your illusion II topped the Billboard charts upon release in 1991, followed by Use your illusion I., which finished second. In the first week of release alone, the works sold over 700,000 copies.
