LollaPeriifa Festival promotes the culture and career of young peripheral artists

In order to promote artists from the suburbs, the day December 17th the first edition of LollaPeriifa Festival🇧🇷 Produced by the cultural producer I have seen myselfthe event takes place at Vila Itororó Cultural Centerin St. Paul🇧🇷 With artistic attractions of different formats and lasting six hours, tickets are free and with spontaneous donation of 1 kg of non-perishable foodwhich will be forwarded to Bridge Project in Heliopolis🇧🇷

The festival has the ideal setting. OR Vila Itororó Cultural Center It is a historical heritage, which was once an abandoned tenement, located in one of the richest regions of the capital of São Paulo. Re-signifying and transforming this place with young people from the suburbs on the rise connects with the history of the city and with the goals to be achieved through the event.

Another difference is that contact with these artists goes far beyond the event. The young performers have undergone approx 15 dayswith a three-pillar methodology: socio-emotional development, professional development through mentoring and immersive experience with presentation to Lollaperifa🇧🇷 During this period the presentations are being prepared: musical and dance, materials for fine art exhibition And graffitiidea building for graffiti live paint and alignment on bang of poetry.

According to the organisers, this preparation aims to professionalize independent artists, in order to then put them in contact with supporters, professionals and the public. Thus contributing to the journey of these young people who are at the beginning of their careers.
