Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, duo that formed Daft Punk, were known for rarely appearing without the iconic helmets
Iconic electronic music duo that broke up in 2021, daft punk published a rare video on the internet in which the DJ duo appears without the legendary helmets. For much of his career, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and thomas bangalter never showed their true faces, whether in concerts, videos or public appearances.
It is worth highlighting how the video was published for the first time during a live broadcast held on twitch in 2022, which was the complete retransmission of a concert, held in 1997, in mayan theater, from Los Angeles. In addition to the live on the website, daft punk had also celebrated the 25th anniversary of the launch of Homework (1997), the duo’s first studio album.
