BTS’ Jin completes five months of basic military training


K-pop star posts with military clearance: ‘I’m having fun’

The oldest member of BTS extension , Jin, 30, shared photos and a message to fans for the first time since enlisting in the South Korean military in December. On Wednesday, Jin posted photos of him, including selfies of him. In one photo of him he is seen in uniform as he stands with his arms at his sides. The singer also wore a mask.

In a selfie, Jin she looked into the camera giving fans a glimpse of her face. She also flashed the victory sign in another photo. Sharing the photos, Jin wrote: “Enjoying my life. I post photos after getting permission from the military. army, be happy and take care of yourself”.

Jin’s message and photos left the world of fans of the group, called the Army, moved. One person tweeted: “Even though he must be very tired, he still asked for permission and came to update us on himself and tell us he is happy and healthy. I am crying. I love you so much Jin.”

Jin, whose full name is Kim Seok Jinofficially drafted for duty on December 13, 2022. According to various reports, Jin is being trained at a frontline army division training camp in Yeoncheon, 60 kilometers north of Seoul.

In South Korea, all valid men between the ages of 18 and 28 must serve in the military for approximately two years. All BTS members were allowed to defer military service until they turned 30.

Other Members – RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – plan to do military service according to your individual plans. The group, which debuted in 2013, said last year that it hoped to reunite as a unit around 2025 after its service commitment.
