His most played song on Spotify, Warm In December, for example, has around 3.3 million views. The singer is also relatively well known on social media. “People come up to me and say, ‘I found you on TikTok,'” he said in a recent interview.
Anitta: ‘I feel victorious’
Previously, on the red carpet, the Brazilian had already weighed the possibility of a defeat: “Win or not, I feel victorious. It’s a victory to be here. I feel like I’m making history. It’s been 50 years since Brazil it was nominated in a major Grammy category. For me, it’s so much work, so much effort, we hear so many ‘no’s coming. I’m super happy.”
In all, there were 10 contestants in the category: Anitta, Måneskin, Omar Apollo, Domi & JD Beck, Samara Joy, Latto, Muni Long, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle and Wet Leg.
