The soundtrack of the game Assassin’s Creed Valhallaby Ubisoft won the former Grammy Awards dedicated to games. The award was received by the composer Economic Stephanie.

The soundtrack of Valhalla competed with the original compositions of the games Alien’s Fireteam Elite, Call of Duty Vanguard, Guardians of the Galaxy and Old World.
After receiving the Grammy for Best Video Game Soundtrack, the composer thanked all those who fought for the category to have the same recognition as film and TV series soundtracks, through an annual award at the Grammy Awards.
In the past, game soundtracks have been honored in other categories: Baba Yetu, the opening song for Civilization 4, won the Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanied by Vocals in 2011. Journey was nominated for Best Score in 2013 and Kirby Super Star won the award for Best Instrumental Arrangement or A Capella in 2022.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The next game in the series, Mirage, will arrive in 2023 for the same platforms.
