The manager of the duo Matheus and Kauan, Lucas Linhares comments on the recording of a recent DVD in Fortaleza and anticipates the sertanejos’ plans for this year.
Common repertoire full of hitssuch as “Que Sorte a Nossa”, “O Nosso Santo Bateu”, “Litrão”, among others, in 2022, the duo Matteo AND kauan was in the most listened list of the sertanejo genre on the Spotify platform. But, after enjoying a well-deserved vacation, the the artists are already working and planning for the whole year 2023.
In January, Matheus and Kauan recorded the eleventh DVD titled “Basiquinho 2”, in Fortaleza (CE), with the participation of queen of piseiro Mari Fernandez, Wesley Safadao AND Xe plane. According to Lucas Linhares, who is the brothers’ manager, this job comes to kick off a season that promises many new things.
“Delivering a work like the EP ‘Basiquinho’ is a very special moment for me as a manager and also for the duo. We have decided to launch this new phase of the project as a thank you to the Northeast for the support and love for the duo Matheus and Kauan,” says a Pure people.
“It was in the Northeast that we broke out and continued with great success, so we decided to honor them by calling artists from the region to make the EP even better. When there is a new release from the duo, we think of the Northeast first, for the connection and love this audience generates in their hearts Matheus and Kauan,” she explains.
