T Jotta was intubated for six days in intensive care and suffered cardiac arrest
Rapper Otavio Tavares, known by his stage name T Jotta, died on Tuesday 7, after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 29 years old and was hospitalized with a bacterial infection.
To the EarthT Jotta’s sister Renata Tavares explained that the rapper had an autoimmune disease, which aggravated the condition to sepsis – a complication that can be fatal. Renata also said that her brother went to the doctor, but a wrong diagnosis ended up making the situation worse.
“He went to an otolaryngologist, as he already had symptoms of infection. The doctor didn’t care and said it was just an allergy. The condition worsened and we went to the UPA (Emergency Care Unit) twice but nothing was done. We finally tried the emergency hospital, where they gave the necessary treatment, but it was too late, the room was extremely aggravated,” he said.
At the hospital, T Jotta was placed in intensive care for six days and had to be intubated. On the afternoon of the 7th he suffered a cardiac arrest for 30 minutes and couldn’t resist.
The rapper was born in Anápolis (GO) and began his career in 2013 in some groups. In 2015 he started a solo career and produced hits and videos on his YouTube channel:
The rapper’s body was buried on Wednesday 8 in Anápolis.
On social networks, many fans commented on the publication of his sister, who posted her farewell on the artist’s profile. “Go with God my love. Angel of our life, I will always love you,” she wrote.
