Praise was made when veteran participated in the song “Já Faz Tanto Tempo”, released by the band in 2021
Although it has remained active and consolidated itself as one of the great national emo bands, fresno faced a series of criticisms throughout his career. Many of them were directed at the vocalist and guitarist Lucas Silveirasince he was always the main figure of the group.
For this and other reasons, a caress once in a while is good. At the end of 2021, the caress came from none other than Lulu Santos, invited by them to participate in a song entitled “It’s been a long time”. The track is on the album I’ll have to turn aroundmade available in the same year cited.
By publicizing the collaboration on their social networks, Lulu made a series of compliments to the fresno and especially to Lucas. He even mentioned his professional colleague as “the best, most capable singer that Brazilian rock and roll has produced”.
“Up close, I realized that the fresno they are real EMO. They have an overflowing emotion tempered by an almost despair and resolved on the basis of sound and fury. Lucas is the best, fittest singer that Brazilian rock and roll has produced, as well as being a warrior and a winner. it burns, fresno.”

Fresno, Lucas Silveira and the critics
As mentioned earlier, the fresno lived with a series of criticisms throughout its existence. In an interview with wolsplash, Lucas Silveira spoke openly about the subject and said that “all that bullying suffered in the heyday of emo messed with everyone psychologically”.
“There were a lot of bad things, right, man? […] It was terrible for me, but I don’t know, we survived, right? The band survived on the back of a lot of therapy, too. But look at this: what has already happened to us here? Of the bands that started with us, there are few that are still standing there. There is Gloria, which is also a stronghold, but many stopped, or stopped and went back – and nothing against it, that’s fine, that’s how it is. Banda is a very bullshit wedding. And we are there, whole, somehow.”
On the occasion, the musician also reinforced that he is now living the dream he had as a teenager. However, he highlighted that he does not stick to what he wanted in the past.
“My last teenage dream was to have a band and today I have it. But I’m not a teenager anymore, in fact, soon my daughter will be a teenager. I’m still traveling, we’re still fine, healthy, making music, being relevant, right? We have hits from ten, fifteen years ago, but they have relevance now, with people taking our talk seriously.”
