Ukrainian actress Natalka Denysenko has revealed the reason behind her sudden split from close friend and fellow actor Taras Tsymbalyuk. Speaking in an interview with presenter Slava Dyomin, the performer explained that her personal life shifted her attention away from their friendship.
Denysenko, who works across Ukrainian film, theatre, and voice dubbing, said she and Tsymbalyuk were once very close. She noted that she used to dedicate a significant amount of time to him, but indicated that relationships naturally alter when a woman begins giving more attention to a partner.
During the conversation, Dyomin suggested that devoting less attention to Tsymbalyuk might have hurt the actor's ego. Denysenko acknowledged that his assessment could be accurate, though she noted she did not know for sure.
Strained relations with Olena Svitlytska
Denysenko also addressed her broken friendship with actor Olena Svitlytska, a former friend and colleague who is currently in a romantic relationship with Tsymbalyuk. The clash has drawn attention within the Ukrainian entertainment industry, where all three figures have built prominent careers on television and stage.
Denysenko stated that strong tension remains between her and Svitlytska. She explained that she no longer speaks to her former friend or even greets her in public, citing a series of past events that prompted her to remove Svitlytska from her social circle entirely.
When asked if jealousy played a role in the conflict, Denysenko denied that envy was involved. She expressed her belief that something else caused the rift, adding that certain private secrets kept her from elaborating further on the situation.
Second marriage and missing guests
The rift follows recent changes in Denysenko's personal life. News agency UNIAN previously reported that the actress married for the second time one month ago, taking the surname Yaroshenko after her wedding.
Neither Tsymbalyuk nor Svitlytska attended the wedding ceremony. Denysenko has continued her work in Ukrainian theatre and dubbing while maintaining a firm distance from both of her former associates.
