Naty Abascal and Pilar Rubio Wear Red Valentino Dresses

Naty Abascal and Pilar Rubio wore red Valentino gowns on Wednesday night during the final of Spanish television show Maestros de la Costura Celebrities 2 to honor Italian designer Valentino Garavani following his death in January 2026.

The joint appearance served as a tribute to Garavani as contestants on the fashion competition were challenged to replicate a classic gala gown to celebrate the designer's style legacy.

Rubio, a Spanish television presenter who won the previous season of the reality series, joined Abascal on set to encourage the contestants. Finalists Mario Vaquerizo, Beatriz Luengo, Silvia Marty and Pau Echaniz competed in the first challenge of the episode.

Abascal, a former model and long-time muse to Garavani, maintained a close personal friendship with the Italian designer over several decades. During the broadcast, she recounted special personal stories about her experiences with Garavani while discussing his influence on global fashion.

Naty Abascal's Spanish-inspired Valentino gown

Abascal selected a floor-length red Valentino gown featuring design elements inspired by Spanish folklore. The fitted dress incorporated a straight neckline and a side bow adorned with ruffles.

She layered the vibrant dress under a semi-transparent black cape that matched her black high-heeled shoes. Her accessories included silver and emerald crystal jewelry, featuring round earrings and a coordinating choker necklace.

Abascal styled her hair in her signature high-volume long bob. Her makeup focused on a luminous, glowing complexion paired with soft pink tones on her lips and cheeks.

Pilar Rubio's red sequin Valentino dress

Rubio chose a glamorous red sequin Valentino gown for her return to the sewing show studio. Her fitted outfit featured a slightly raised neckline, structured shoulder pads, long sleeves and a side slit along the skirt.

She paired the sequined look with beige high-heeled sandals designed to visually elongate the legs. Rubio wore her hair in a high ponytail to frame her facial features.

Her beauty look featured pink-toned makeup highlighted by dark eyeliner applied to elongate the eyes.

Autumn guest fashion and intense red color trends

The television appearances offered inspiration for upcoming autumn ceremonies, such as weddings and formal gatherings, as temperatures cool across Europe. The featured Valentino designs were presented as versatile formal wear options suitable for both daytime and evening occasions.

Fashion stylists highlighted intense red as the defining color trend for autumn 2026. Both Abascal and Rubio demonstrated how statement monochrome red looks can elevate guest attire for cool-weather events.
