Ukrainian actor Nazar Zadniprovskyi and his wife Iryna have revealed that their family requires at least 50,000 hryvnias monthly to live comfortably in Kyiv.
The couple discussed their household budget during a recent interview with blogger Oleksandr Prepodobnyi. Speaking about their shared finances, the film star and his wife explained how money is managed in their home.
Zadniprovskyi stated that the couple maintains a traditional approach to family finances. He explained that all the money he earns belongs to the family, whereas any income earned by his wife remains exclusively her own.
Iryna confirmed that the entire family budget is held in her hands. The couple, who have two shared children to support, admitted that living in the capital with a family requires several thousand hryvnias each month.
Iryna specified that a minimum of 50,000 hryvnias per month is necessary for the household to maintain a comfortable lifestyle in the Ukrainian capital.
Career and Kyiv living costs
Nazar Zadniprovskyi is a well-known Ukrainian theater, film, and television actor. He achieved widespread national recognition for his starring role in the comedy film franchise Crazy Wedding, known in Ukrainian as Skazhene Vesillya, and his leading role in the popular television comedy series House for Happiness, or Budynochok na Shchastya.
The family resides in Kyiv, the capital city and largest urban center of Ukraine. Financial discussions in the country are conducted in hryvnias, the national currency of Ukraine. Living costs in the capital are generally higher than in other regions of the country, making monthly family budgeting a subject of public interest.
Reshetnik family budget details
The Zadniprovskyis are not the first prominent Ukrainian figures to speak openly about their monthly living costs. The source report noted that television host Hryhoriy Reshetnik and his wife previously shared details regarding their own monthly household spending.
During their earlier disclosure, the Reshetnik couple explained that a large portion of their monthly budget is spent on schooling, formal education, and extracurricular activities for their three sons.
