Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey had an unofficial premiere in Russia on July 30, screening as a pre-show service with a Russian-language dub produced by studio ProDublyazh for CIS territories.

Danil Shcheblanov, known as the Russian voice of Ryan Gosling in La La Land, voices the lead character Odysseus. Irina Kireyeva, who has dubbed Anne Hathaway multiple times including in My Monster Girlfriend, provides the voice of Queen Penelope.

Sergei Chikhachyov, recognised for dubbing Josh Brolin in the Sicario films, voices Menelaus. The character Antinous, played in the film by Robert Pattinson, is voiced by Gleb Glushenko, who dubs Andrew Garfield in the musical Tick, Tick… Boom!

Odyssey is based on the ancient Greek epic by Homer. Matt Damon, known for The Departed and The Martian, stars in the title role, alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal.
