The Apple TV comedy series Sticks will return for its second season on November 4, 2026, starring Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill.

The new season of the streaming show will launch with two episodes on its premiere date. Apple TV will then release one episode weekly until December 30, bringing the second season to ten episodes in total.
New Plot and Returning Cast
The story follows Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer played by Wilson, who begins the season continuing his mentor role to young golfer Santi, played by Peter Dager. Following the events of the first season, both characters face new challenges as Cahill considers an unexpected return to professional competition, aiming to become the oldest player to win a major tournament.
To assist with his comeback attempt, Cahill hires a new coach named Amanda, played by Rhea Seehorn in a supporting role. Seehorn is widely known for her role as Kim Wexler in the drama series Better Call Saul and also stars in the Apple TV series Pluribus.
Alongside Wilson and Dager, returning cast members for the second season include Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant. The series originally debuted its first season on Apple TV in 2025.
New Cast Members and Golf Cameos
Several new actors are joining the ensemble cast for the second season. The additions include John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander, and Missi Pyle.
The upcoming season will also feature appearances from figures within the golf world. Broadcaster Jim Nantz, former professional golfer Trevor Immelman, content creator Matt Scharff, and golf journalist Dan Rapaport are all scheduled to appear.
Television series focused on golf have built an audience alongside international interest in the sport, which has been driven globally by prominent Spanish players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Sergio García Fernández, José María Olazábal, and Jon Rahm.
