Priscilla Presley made a rare public appearance at a lifestyle event in Majorca on Thursday, showing off a smooth complexion at the 14th Remus Lifestyle Night at the Hotel Hilton Mallorca Galatzo.
The 81-year-old businesswoman stepped out in a bright red A-line maxi dress, completing her look with a red crossbody bag that matched her lipstick. Actress Mischa Barton was also in attendance, wearing a red and white co-ord with a white mini bag.
The outing marked Presley's first major public appearance since visiting Denmark in March, where she appeared at the Elvis Memphis Museum dedicated to the King of Rock and Roll.
Family grief
At a speaking event in Las Vegas in May, Presley and her son Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, 39, opened up about the toll of family loss. Presley said the death of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley in 2023 had "separated" the Presley family, describing how the family used to get together for meals before her passing.
Garcia added that the earlier death of Lisa Marie's son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide at age 27 in July 2020, was the first event that drove the family apart, as people grieved differently and assigned blame in different ways.
However, Garcia said he now feels the family is coming closer together following Lisa Marie's death. "I feel like we're all letting go of those feelings," he said.
Presley and Elvis married in Las Vegas in 1967 and split in 1972, with their divorce finalized the following year. Their daughter Lisa Marie was born in 1968 and died in January 2023 from a small bowel obstruction at age 54. Lisa Marie is survived by daughters Harper and Finley Lockwood, 18, and Riley Keough, 37.
