Queen Máxima's Autumn Look at Dutch F1 Grand Prix

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands attended the Formula 1 race at the Zandvoort circuit alongside King Willem-Alexander and other members of the Dutch royal family, wearing a simple two-piece combination that can easily carry over into the coming months.

The look proved once again that an elegant outfit does not need to be complicated.

White shirt and printed midi skirt

The outfit consisted of a loose-fitting white shirt with short sleeves paired with a beige midi skirt decorated with large white floral motifs. Máxima wore the shirt slightly bloused and tucked into the skirt, defining her waist without relying on too rigid a silhouette.

The skirt fell to ankle length and featured an oversized floral print that broke up the plainness of the white and beige tones.

Máxima kept the same colour palette in her accessories. She chose white wedge espadrilles with an esparto platform and crossed ankle straps, footwear that preserved the outfit's summery character while remaining practical for a day outdoors. She completed the look with a small cream-toned bag, sunglasses and gold jewellery.

An outfit built for autumn

The combination also shows how simple it would be to adapt for the weeks ahead. Swapping the espadrilles for ballet flats, loafers or boots would let the white shirt and midi skirt carry well beyond summer.

Princess Alexia returns to public duties

The Zandvoort race also brought another point of interest for the Dutch royal family, as Princess Alexia appeared publicly alongside her parents again after several months of a much lower profile in the Royal House's schedule.

The middle daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima had cut back on her public appearances while continuing her academic studies in the United Kingdom. Her absence had been particularly noticeable at some of the family's major recent engagements, while her sisters, Princess Amalia and Princess Ariane, took on greater public visibility.

Her return alongside the family at Zandvoort put her back in the spotlight before she resumes her academic commitments. Alexia studies in London, which explains why her participation in official engagements is less frequent and makes her appearances with the rest of the House of Orange-Nassau increasingly notable occasions.
