Romy Reiner, 28, appeared in Friday's final episode of Larry David's satirical HBO series Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, just weeks after her late father Rob Reiner made a posthumous cameo in the show.

Rob and his wife Michele Reiner were killed at ages 78 and 70 last December, and their son Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested and charged with their deaths.

Posthumous Emmy nomination for The Bear

In July, Rob earned a posthumous Emmy nomination for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy for his role as restaurateur Albert Schnurr in season four of the FX drama The Bear. The show, led by Jeremy Allen White, received eight nominations in total ahead of the September ceremony.

The Reiner family said in a statement last December: "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time."

Rob's adopted daughter Tracy Reiner, 62, told NBC News at the time: "I came from the greatest family ever. I don't know what to say. I'm in shock."
