Cristiano Ronaldo posted a playful shirtless photo with his teenage son on the beach as speculation mounts that the footballer is about to marry Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal.
The family has travelled to Portugal, where one TV host has claimed the ceremony will take place at the Quinta da Regaleira estate in Sintra. The estate appears to be open to the public this weekend, however, adding doubt to the reports.
In the beach photo, Ronaldo, 41, flexed alongside his son Junior, 16, who mirrored his father's pose. Ronaldo captioned the Instagram image "not yet!" as he compared their physiques.
Before the rumoured big day, Ronaldo and Rodriguez, 32, also spent time relaxing on the beach together with Junior.
Rings on display
The couple has been showing off large diamond rings in the days leading up to the reported wedding. They were photographed boarding Ronaldo's luxury yacht in Majorca on Tuesday with the matching jewellery visible, and Rodriguez also shared Instagram pictures of the pair wearing the rings as they boarded a private jet.
Ronaldo has been wearing his ring since last year, when he visited President Donald Trump at the White House. He was also seen wearing it during Portugal's Round of 16 match against Spain at the World Cup earlier this month, which Portugal lost.
Plans to marry
Ronaldo had previously said he intended to marry Rodriguez after this year's World Cup. He told Piers Morgan he hoped to arrive at his wedding with the champion's trophy, and that he planned to marry her because he believed it was the right time and because she was the person he loves most.
The pair got engaged last August after eight years of dating. Ronaldo later told Morgan that he proposed at around 1 a.m., with two of his children walking in just as he was offering the ring. He said he had known he would do it one day but had not planned it for that moment.
Ronaldo also said he worked hard to find the right engagement ring, explaining that Rodriguez had asked him for a ring with a good stone as it was one of her dreams.
Rodriguez announced the engagement on Instagram with the caption "Yes, I do."
Family background
The couple have daughters Alana and Bella together and welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo through surrogacy. Bella had a twin brother named Angel, who passed away shortly after birth. Ronaldo also has an older son, Cristiano Jr., from an earlier relationship.
Rodriguez met Ronaldo in 2016 while working as a sales assistant at a Gucci shop in Madrid. The couple moved to Saudi Arabia after Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr in 2022.
