Spanish television personality Rosa Benito is returning to Honduras to compete in Supervivientes All Stars, 15 years after winning the reality show that triggered the end of her marriage.
Her return had been widely anticipated after the Telecinco network broadcast hints that its star would once again leap from a helicopter to join the contest. Benito, who works as a contributor on the show De lunes a viernes, admitted to colleagues on set that she felt extremely nervous and fearful of the helicopter after seeing headlines about her comeback.
Benito explained that she does not fear hunger, insects, severe weather, or clashes with strong-minded fellow contestants. Nor is she afraid of returning to the beach where she originally decided to end her marriage to media personality Amador Mohedano, the father of her children.

Benito stated that her main goal is to serve as a voice for women of her age, demonstrating that they can take on the challenge and enjoy a wonderful experience. Reflecting on her 2011 stint in Cayos Cochinos, she recalled realizing that her youth was slipping away while feeling restricted alongside her then-husband.
She lamented that Mohedano rarely took her out for meals or to watch films at the cinema, activities she was only able to enjoy independently or with friends after serving him with divorce papers. At the time, she told Mohedano that she was no longer fragile like glass, but strong like rock.
Amador Mohedano admits making ex-wife suffer
On Wednesday, Amador Mohedano spoke out about his ex-wife's return during an interview at his estate, La Mas Grande, located in Chipiona, Spain. Mohedano, who is the brother of the late Spanish singer Rocio Jurado, welcomed television presenter Ion Aramendi into his home to reflect on the relationship.
When asked by Aramendi whether the 2011 series marked the beginning of the end for their marriage, Mohedano admitted that the period was filled with intense public speculation. He explained that while he initially enjoyed watching Benito perform on screen, anonymous callers began contacting him daily to poison his mind.
Mohedano revealed that people called him at four in the morning to taunt him about model Jose Manuel Montalvo, with whom Benito had formed a close bond during the show. Although Mohedano acknowledged that Montalvo and his parents were pleasant people, he admitted that the constant pressure overwhelmed him.
Reunion in Honduras and admission of guilt
Mohedano confessed that after suffering through the ordeal himself, he made Benito suffer terribly in return, accepting full responsibility for his subsequent behavior toward her.
Despite the painful aftermath, Mohedano also recalled their famous reunion in Honduras during the 2011 broadcast, when he flew out to visit her on the beach. He described the moment they embraced and rolled in the sand together while kissing as truly magical.
Supervivientes is the Spanish adaptation of the Survivor reality television franchise, filmed on the remote island group of Cayos Cochinos off the coast of Honduras. The series tests contestants' survival skills under extreme physical and psychological conditions.
