Singer Ruslana Panchyshyna has made her screen acting debut in the upcoming movie A Fuego, while also writing and releasing its title track.
The Spanish artist announced on social media on Friday that she plays the character of Bego in the film and composed the namesake song, which was released across digital platforms the same day.
Writing on her social media channels, the performer expressed great excitement at finally sharing the project with her followers. She explained that alongside playing Bego, she had the immense pleasure of composing the title track, which she felt summarised the story and overall vibe of the film.
Although the song was originally scheduled for release next week, it arrived on digital streaming services one week ahead of the movie's premiere in cinemas. The performer urged fans to enjoy both the single and the film when they arrive on 21 August, closing her message with kisses.
Musical style of the title track
The single A Fuego draws on retro pop elements combined with subtle electronic touches and a strong percussion rhythm. The track features marked phrasing, a relaxed vibe, and the artist's characteristic raspy vocal delivery.
The release marks her latest musical work since emerging onto the music scene just over two years ago. In that time, she has already released a full-length studio album and an EP.
Career from Operación Triunfo to Catarsis
Panchyshyna first rose to public prominence in 2023 as a finalist on Operación Triunfo, a popular Spanish reality television music competition and training academy. The 2023 edition of the show was won by fellow contestant Naiara.
Shortly after leaving the academy, the singer established her musical foundation by launching her debut studio album, Génesis. The ten-track album included the singles La Balada and Estrella del Rock.
At the start of 2026, Panchyshyna built on that foundation with the release of her EP titled Catarsis. Speaking during a visit to the studios of Cadena 100, a major Spanish radio network, she described the EP as both a turning point and a continuation of her career that shared a clear connection with her debut album.
She explained during the broadcast that Catarsis reflected an evolution in both her sound and personal development. She described the work as a story about a moment when something breaks on a personal level, leading an individual to adopt a new philosophy or connect with an inner part of themselves that had always been present but was not fully accepted.
Live performances and upcoming shows
That personal and artistic framework laid the groundwork for A Fuego, which has now been formally added to her musical repertoire. The singer adapts her concert setlists for each performance to match the emotional demands of her audience, making the new track a likely addition to her upcoming live shows.
