Actress Saoirse Ronan has been filmed in London playing rock photographer Linda McCartney for director Sam Mendes' upcoming Beatles biopic. Ronan arrived at Sir Paul McCartney's three-storey Regency townhouse in St Johns Wood for scenes set in the 1970s.
The four-time Oscar-nominated actress was seen arriving at the townhouse location in character. Paul Mescal, 30, who plays Sir Paul, greeted her on set.

Ronan was dropped off at the St Johns Wood property in a black cab while filming the 1970s sequence.

In keeping with 1970s fashion, Ronan wore a pale pink short-sleeved blouse, a navy floral mini skirt, and low-heeled black shoes. Her long blonde hair mirrored the look of Linda McCartney.

An actress appearing to be around four years old was also seen on set playing Paul and Linda's young daughter, Stella McCartney. The young actress wore a brown suede jacket trimmed with long fringing alongside burgundy trousers.

The scenes featuring Ronan form part of Mendes' forthcoming Beatles film project, which captures the band across several decades.

Beatles History and Supporting Cast
Sir Paul and Linda Eastman met at the Bag O'Nails music club in 1967 during Beatlemania. They married at Marylebone Town Hall in March 1969 and remained together for nearly three decades until her death from breast cancer at age 56 in 1998.

Paul and Linda married alongside her daughter Heather in March 1969. Linda later became Paul's musical partner after The Beatles broke up, playing keyboards and singing harmonies in Wings.

Before meeting Linda, Sir Paul dated model Jane Asher, now 80. Asher is portrayed by 32-year-old Lucy Boynton, who was spotted filming with Mescal in Spain where the Costa Brava stood in for the Virgin Islands to recreate Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr's secret 1964 Caribbean holiday.
Described as the first bingeable theatrical experience, Sam Mendes' project features four separate films. The main cast includes Harris Dickinson, 30, as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn, 32, as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan, 33, as Sir Ringo Starr.

The supporting cast features Aimee Lou Wood, 32, as Pattie Boyd, Anna Sawai, 34, as Yoko Ono, James Norton, 41, as Brian Epstein, Mia McKenna-Bruce, 29, as Maureen Starkey, and Harry Lloyd, 42, as producer George Martin. Each film tells the story from a different band member's perspective, with all four releasing simultaneously in 2028.
