Businesswoman Sassa de Osma has unveiled a transitional outfit previewing Autumn 2026 fashion trends, combining warm earth tones with lightweight layers for the late summer season.
Sharing the look on social media, de Osma stated that the ensemble was designed for unhurried days, long walks, and a little warmth during summer. The outfit offers a practical guide for dressing during the late-summer transition as holidays end and cooler weather approaches.

Vicuña stole and brown knit layers
The foundation of the look features a fine long-sleeved brown sweater, providing a lightweight base layer as late-summer temperatures begin to drop. De Osma elevated the knitwear by draping a large brown vicuña stole from fashion label Kuna over her shoulders, styled in a wrapping fashion with fringe trim along the edges.
The monochromatic layering highlights brown as a key colour for the Autumn 2026 season. Earth tones, including chocolate, camel, and warm brown, continue to gain prominence over classic black as sophisticated options for daily wardrobes. For warmer September days, a large scarf or lightweight shawl can serve as an alternative to the heavy stole.
Beige trousers and classic brown loafers
De Osma paired the brown knitwear with straight-cut beige trousers in a slightly relaxed fit. The combination of beige and brown establishes a neutral palette suited for returning to work and daily routines after summer breaks.
Completing the lower half, de Osma replaced open summer sandals with flat brown loafers. The footwear provides a comfortable transition option between August sandals and autumn boots, working equally well when paired with tailored trousers, jeans, midi skirts, or dresses.
Natural shell handbag maintains summer link
While the earth-toned clothing signals the upcoming autumn season, de Osma balanced the look with a small handbag completely covered in natural-toned shells and finished with brown leather handles. The handcrafted marine accessory retains a connection to summer, demonstrating that beach-inspired details can remain in a transitional wardrobe beyond August.
The ensemble incorporates five core elements for late-summer dressing: earth tones, layered clothing, neutral trousers, flat loafers, and a distinctive accessory, creating a balanced transition into the Autumn 2026 season.
