Television personalities Suso Álvarez and Marieta have arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, to begin their delayed honeymoon one month after marrying in Toledo.
The couple announced their departure on social media after work commitments and conflicting schedules forced them to postpone their trip. They previously took a short breather in Ibiza, though they clarified that the island was not their official honeymoon location.
Their romance began on the sets of Telecinco television shows. Although some observers initially viewed the relationship as another temporary studio fling given their past on-air romances, Álvarez eventually proposed with an engagement ring.
They married a month ago in a large wedding in Toledo that brought together popular Telecinco personalities, including figures who no longer appear on the network. The wedding generated significant attention due to arguments among attendees, including a major fight between José María Almoguera and María La Jerezana.
Tensions also flared between Belén Rodríguez and Carmen Borrego after Diego Matamoros sat next to Borrego, the sister of Terelu Campos, without notice despite his ongoing feud with her family. While news of these wedding disputes circulated in the following weeks, the newlyweds kept a low profile until embarking on their trip.
Airport departure and travel details
Before boarding their flight, the couple shared updates from the airport with their followers. They took precautions with their luggage, spending 30 euros to wrap their bags to prevent damage or loss during travel.
Marieta said that if she travels, she travels well, noting that the 30 euros spent at the airport was money well spent because safety is the most important factor. She also admitted to feeling nervous before taking off, explaining that she experiences flight anxiety regardless of whether it is a short flight to Ibiza taking under an hour or a long-distance trip.
Their journey required a layover in Doha, Qatar, before they landed safely in Bangkok alongside their intact luggage. The couple has since begun posting updates showcasing their hotel and initial honeymoon activities on social media.
