The Málaga Fair brought together members of the Rivera family around one of their great passions. Tana Rivera and Lourdes Montes went to the bullring for an afternoon of bullfighting in which Roca Rey was one of the main draws, and although they sat in the same section, their style choices went in very different directions.
Tana Rivera opted for a relaxed look built around white, while Lourdes Montes chose color, wearing a fuchsia floral set that was far more structured and sophisticated.
Tana Rivera's boho vest by Eugenia Martínez de Irujo
Tana Rivera paired a white sleeveless top with wide white trousers, creating a neutral base for the real star of the outfit.
The piece was a vest from a collection designed by her mother, Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, together with the brand Antik Batik. The design comes in different shades of blue decorated with floral embroidery, including a large yellow flower. The small pops of color, the finishing details and the handcrafted look of the piece give the outfit a bohemian feel that works especially well with simple garments.
Rather than wearing a print head to toe, Tana let a single piece hold all the attention, a formula that also makes it easy to carry this kind of vest into other outfits with jeans, long skirts or plain dresses. Gold hoop earrings and bracelets completed a look whose accessories matched the same relaxed aesthetic.
Lourdes Montes goes fuchsia with Panambi
At the opposite end was the outfit worn by Lourdes Montes, who chose a matching shirt and midi skirt set from the brand Panambi for the afternoon of bullfighting.
The top is made from fuchsia floral embroidered fabric with contrasting black piping that traces the silhouette. It features a V-neckline, a front button closure and slightly structured shoulders, a detail that gives the top presence and makes the set look more sophisticated. The midi skirt continues the same floral motif and keeps the black detailing, making the two pieces work almost like a single dress.
Two very different choices for the same afternoon in Málaga. While Tana Rivera took embroidery in a relaxed, bohemian direction, Lourdes Montes made it the centerpiece of a bolder outfit, showing how the same design element can work in completely different ways in a summer wardrobe.
