Tabletop publisher Cation Arts has announced a tactical board game adaptation of Terminator 2, bringing the classic science fiction movie to tabletop gaming.
The game is designed as a cooperative survival title where players take control of key heroes to prevent Judgment Day while fleeing the shape-shifting T-1000 terminator.
According to official details released by the developer, players can choose Sarah Connor, John Connor, or the iconic T-800 cyborg portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 film.
The official description presents the release as a tactical dice-based survival game supporting one to three players working together against automated game mechanics. An optional rule set allows an additional player to take control of the villainous T-1000.
Gameplay unfolds across three distinct chapters. Player groups must complete specific objectives during these chapters to unlock one of three possible final endgame missions.
The structure of the board game does not require players to follow a rigid strategy immediately. This design allows groups to adjust their tactics as resources shift and circumstances change during play.

A preliminary preview version of the project is currently available on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. However, Cation Arts has not yet officially confirmed a definitive launch date for the full campaign.
