The cast of E! reality series The Golden Life relocate from New York to Palm Beach in an official trailer released on September 10.
The new series premieres on Tuesday, October 20, at 10 p.m. on E!, bringing together five former Big Apple personalities in South Florida.
Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon star in the show, trading Manhattan for a new environment while reigniting familiar group dynamics.
In the preview, de Lesseps reflects on leaving New York City behind. "I'm coming here to Palm Beach to regain my power," she says in a confessional moment.
Medley echoes similar sentiments about starting fresh in South Florida. "You've done the wife thing, you've done the motherhood thing," Medley explains. "But I'm really engaged, for the first time ever, in my life."
Singer attributes her appearance to the relaxed climate of her new home. "I have no stress," Singer shares in a confessional. "I think that's why I look as good as I do. People go, 'Alright, what did you do?' I did nothing."
Tension and Confrontations in South Florida
Despite the change of scenery, conflict quickly emerges among the group. Singer is seen crying during a tense exchange involving Medley and Morgan.
"She's lashing out," Singer tells her co-stars through tears in the trailer. "There's something wrong here."
The disagreement escalates in a subsequent scene when Singer directly confronts another cast member. "Do not lie! I hate liars," Singer insists.
Morgan enters what she describes as a later-in-life party era, leading to friction during a gathering. "I went to burp and I threw up a little," Morgan admits to de Lesseps during a wild soiree.
The atmosphere deteriorates further when Morgan brings up mutual acquaintance Tom D'Agostino, suggesting he "was just ready to marry any anyone."
De Lesseps responds sarcastically to the remark. "Oh thanks, Sonja. That's really lovely of you," de Lesseps says before walking away from the conversation.
Romance and Dating Competition
Beyond personal disputes, the cast members actively pursue romance in their new surroundings, displaying an eagerness to meet eligible men in Palm Beach.
Dating dynamics spark further disagreement between de Lesseps and Morgan. De Lesseps accuses her co-star of targeting her former romantic interests.
"She loves to flirt with any man that is mine," de Lesseps says in the preview. "Those girls are man-hungry, sex-starved cougars."
The trailer highlights a mix of catfights, charity lunches, and party mishaps as the women navigate their social lives and attempt to reconnect with old friends.
Bensimon sums up the group mindset during the preview. "Living your Golden Life means being the best version of you," Bensimon states.

The five cast members previously starred together on Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of New York City, which documented the lives of wealthy women living in Manhattan. De Lesseps is also known as a recording artist behind the 2010 dance track "Money Can't Buy You Class," while her past relationship with D'Agostino served as a prominent storyline on television.
Palm Beach, located on a barrier island in coastal South Florida, is renowned for luxury shopping, historic estates, and high-society gatherings. The location provides the backdrop for the new venture on E!, a network owned by NBCUniversal that focuses on entertainment news and pop culture programming.
Following its October debut, The Golden Life will return with additional episodes in 2027. Future installments are scheduled to feature guest appearances by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell and The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs.
