Tom Clare Suffers Severe Hangover After Mallorca Wedding

Reality television star Tom Clare has admitted he is still hungover after returning home from a boozy 10-day wedding celebration in Mallorca with his new wife Molly Smith.

The 26-year-old groom revealed on Saturday that he was struggling with the effects of his alcohol-fuelled trip, during which he was forced to down six shots of tequila after telling friends he was beginning to sober up.

Speaking directly into the camera while sitting in his car, Clare described the aftermath of the festivities and admitted he had never consumed so much alcohol in his life.

"I think I may have a severe couple-of-day hangover," Clare shared in a video posted to Instagram. "I've never drank as much in my life!"

"On one of the final days, we went to a beach club and I said to the boys 'I feel a bit sober,'" Clare said. "The next thing I know, there's six tequila shots and they've made me do them all and I can still taste it!"

"So yeah, still hungover, still tired, still powering through, still feeling on top of the world and I want to sleep for days!" he added.

Mallorca Ceremony and Wedding Celebrations

Following a legal ceremony in England, the newlyweds jetted off to Mallorca to host a second wedding with all their loved ones at Son Marroig. The venue features a 17th-century marble temple with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Son Marroig is a historic estate situated on the coast of Mallorca. Clare and Smith previously starred on the ITV2 reality dating show Love Island All Stars, where they met and won the series before continuing their relationship outside the villa.

The couple enjoyed a week of wild celebrations alongside fellow Love Island stars, including Sophie Piper, Joshua Ritchie, Casey O'Gorman, and Mitch Taylor. Clare shared a photograph showing best man Casey O'Gorman and another groomsman hoisting him into the air as the party got into full swing.

The celebrations culminated in matching tattoos for several guests on their final night in Mallorca. Clare marked the occasion by getting his first tattoo, while 27-year-old Sophie Piper revealed on Friday that she woke up hungover with a tequila tattoo inked on her foot.

Piper complained in online comments that her tattoo ink was "so thick," prompting Taylor to joke in response: "What is wrong with us?"

Marking the end of the 10-day party, Clare wrote online: "Last night vibes! What an unbelievable 10 days, married my soul mate and made memories to tell the grandkids! Magical. Oh, and got my first tattoo."

Taylor's girlfriend Hayley Griffin posted a photo of the group displaying their matching tattoos at the airport. "And this basically sums up how we ended the wedding week," Griffin wrote.

Police Intervention at Port Harbour

The raucous festivities eventually led to police being called during a gathering at the Suculenta Port de Sóller restaurant. Local yacht crew at the harbour reportedly grew irritated by the party and contacted law enforcement.

Officers from the Guardia Civil arrived at the harbour following the complaints. Racing driver Seb Melrose, 28, set the record straight regarding the incident, admitting that police issued the wedding party a warning for jumping in the port, which is not permitted.

Despite the visit from police, guests continued swigging drinks and documenting the gathering on social media. Best man O'Gorman stripped down to tiny Speedos while leering gormlessly at an attending police officer, in images shared online by Taylor, who expressed his love for his friend.

Smith appeared entirely unfazed by the police intervention as she served shots, cosied up to her husband, and threw herself into the sea. The bride and guests remained unbothered by the police visit as they posted photos of themselves jumping into the water and celebrating harbour-side.
