Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has confirmed that she and her husband Ercan Ramadan are actively trying for children following her long-running fertility journey.
The 38-year-old television personality broke down in tears during a recent appearance on the BBC's Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast as she opened up about her desire to start a family.

Pattison candidly admitted her emotional struggles with timing during the broadcast, wiping away tears as she reflected on her path to motherhood.
"I didn't think I'd be this age without a baby or a family," Pattison tearfully explained during the episode. "It's just the way the cookie crumbles and like how life sometimes like presents you with different things and different opportunities and stuff. And I've never really felt ready until now."

The reality presenter described how her mindset shifted suddenly once she felt prepared to become a mother.
"It's wild but like something just clicks, and the minute you feel ready it's like you need a baby straight away," she said. "And all my whole life I felt so content and so happy and so proud of the things I was doing, and now all of a sudden, because I don't have a baby, I feel a bit lost."
Speaking about her husband Ercan Ramadan, whom she married in 2024, Pattison expressed complete confidence in his parenting abilities while trying to maintain a relaxed attitude.
"I love my husband so much. He's going to make such a great dad," she continued. "We're just trying not to put too much pressure on ourselves."
Fertility journey and egg freezing
Pattison has been open with her followers about her reproductive health, documenting her experience with egg freezing after beginning the procedure at age 35.
The process involved medical treatment to extract and preserve mature eggs, which successfully yielded three frozen embryos for future use.

"We made a decision a couple years ago to freeze our eggs which I'm like so happy we did," Pattison shared. "Gives you that bit of a security blanket."
She also expressed hope that reproductive health services will become more accessible across the country in the future. "Yeah, I look forward to the day where that is a treatment that is available for more women, more affordable, certainly," she said.
Injecting some humour into the discussion, she added: "But yeah, at the moment, Well I mean, he's [Ercan's] having a lovely time." She concluded: "I know these things take time, but patience has never been one of my virtues."
Career pressures and motherhood expectations
Her recent podcast comments follow a 2025 interview with Women's Health UK, where Pattison admitted to having a "huge question mark over motherhood" and described the social pressure to conceive after marriage as "suffocating."
She explained that after building a successful media career over more than a decade, stepping away from work created significant personal apprehension.

"I'm a huge advocate for egg freezing, although I'm saying that from a position of financial privilege," she told the publication at the time.
"Women shouldn't be beholden to this invisible timeline," she said. "We're fed this narrative that we can have it all and do whatever we want, but it's not necessarily true. In women's lives, there has to be a lot of compromise involved."
Reflecting on her early relationship with Ramadan, Pattison noted: "I met Ercan when I was 31 and wanted to give our relationship breathing space… It's been the best thing I've ever done. I felt really suffocated, on a kind of conveyor belt, and now I feel free."
Holiday snaps and upcoming Montenegro trip
Alongside her candid comments on family planning, Pattison took to social media on Friday to share throwback vacation photos featuring her husband.
Posting on her travel business page, the star displayed her physique in a dark green bikini while posing with her leg dipped in a swimming pool.
She used the post to tease an upcoming trip to Montenegro, a popular Balkan holiday destination along the Adriatic coast, while seeking advice from fans.
"Last summer Holiday of the year... PENDING. We're off to MONTENEGRO !!!!!! And we're a little bit overwhelmed- so pop your recommendations in the comments!!! I'm all ears!!!" she wrote.
