Vittoria Ceretti, the Italian model who has been dating Leonardo DiCaprio since 2023, looked nearly unrecognizable over the weekend after copying the actor's iconic 1990s haircut for a photo shoot.
The 28-year-old took to her Instagram stories on Saturday to share images of herself in a short blonde wig, taken from behind the scenes of her latest cover shoot for Vogue Italia's August 2026 issue.
Ceretti took a selfie in the mirror's reflection while wearing the blonde wig, styled with bangs falling onto her forehead. Her makeup included a light shadow around her eyes, warm blush on her cheeks and a bold, darker tint on her lips.
She wore ivory satin lingerie trimmed with lace around the neckline and hem for the shoot. Another image showed her taking the selfie while someone else photographed her, captioned 'POV.'
DiCaprio wore a similar hairstyle throughout the 1990s, including in film roles and on the red carpet during that decade. Daily Mail has reached out to Ceretti's representatives for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication.
Ceretti also posted further images from the shoot to her main Instagram page, wearing shorter wigs. In one selfie, she opted for a brunette wig with bangs and bleached eyebrows. She also wore the blonde wig again while modeling a vibrant red, sheer top with edgy makeup.
Formentera getaway with DiCaprio
As summer draws to a close, Ceretti has kept busy. Earlier this month she traveled to the Spanish island of Formentera with DiCaprio and a group of friends, spending time by the Mediterranean Sea at Beso Beach.
Ceretti chatted with friends before a large group headed into a nearby building, while DiCaprio shared a laugh with the group during a boat ride. The actor was later seen walking with friends before climbing a rocky cliff on the island. Actor Lukas Haas, known for Inception, and Laura Harrier, who appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, were also part of the group.
Shortly before the Formentera trip, Ceretti and DiCaprio were joined by actor Tobey Maguire and fashion designer Giorgia Tordini for a meal at a restaurant called Nudo. In late July, the couple spent time together in the French Riviera for dinner.
Relationship timeline
Ceretti was first linked to DiCaprio three years ago, and the pair have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye. In August 2023, they were spotted getting ice cream together in Santa Barbara, California. The following month, DiCaprio traveled to Italy to attend Milan Fashion Week while Ceretti walked the runway.
A source later told Us Weekly that DiCaprio was 'completely smitten' with Ceretti and that the two 'have a ton in common.' Addressing their age gap, the source said it 'clearly isn't an issue for him,' adding that Ceretti 'is an old soul.'
In February this year, the couple were seen on a low-key Valentine's Day date in Los Angeles, grabbing food at Anajak Thai. In March, Ceretti accompanied DiCaprio to the 2026 Oscars in Hollywood.
In June, the pair were seen celebrating after the United States beat Paraguay at the FIFA World Cup, attending an afterparty at the Italian restaurant Alba, where DiCaprio's stepfather, David Ward, also joined the celebrations.
Ceretti on dating fame
In April last year, Ceretti spoke briefly about her relationship during an interview with Vogue France, without naming DiCaprio directly. 'As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become "girlfriend of" - or "boyfriend of," for that matter,' she said.
'And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex,' she continued. 'So it's not nice to think that you can't love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.'
Ceretti revealed in the same interview that she and DiCaprio first met in Milan, and said she was a fan of Titanic, calling it 'an iconic film.'
