What you can’t drink with food if you want to lose weight: an insidious drink that has no sugar or calories

Despite the popular stereotype, you can drink while eating. However, you need to understand which drink is better to choose. And most importantly – observe a special temperature regime.

If you’ve tried to lose weight at least once in your life, you probably know which drinks are healthy and which contain only empty calories. We won’t even explain why you shouldn’t drink juice often, put sugar in tea and coffee and, of course, buy sodas. Everybody knows that !

However, even an ordinary glass of water, without any additives, can adversely affect the body’s metabolic processes. And the reason is its temperature.

If you prefer to keep a glass of clean, room-temperature water next to your plate during meals, don’t be surprised if you feel hungry again soon after the meal. The fact is that cold water helps to increase stomach contractions. Because of this, the food does not have time to digest properly – and almost instantly “slips” further into the upper intestine. As a result, you don’t have time to get enough and want more, and the intestines ache in an attempt to process poorly digested food – and respond to this load with unpleasant heaviness and bloating.

Remember: you don’t have to completely stop drinking while eating. A small amount of warm water or a cup of tea for dessert will certainly have a beneficial effect on the body.
