LWKS Software, the British maker of the Lightworks editing system, has acquired Copenhagen-based ioGates, a maker of cloud-based file-sharing entertainment software. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Plans are to integrate ioGates’ React cloud platform with LWKS’s Lightworks QA technology and QScan for remote file sharing, review and approval, and daily workflow within the system.
