Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox: best friends
If the series Friends chronicled the daily lives of six New York friends, the actors of the show have become very close over the seasons. This is especially true of Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston, the interpreters of Monica and Rachel. Indeed, the two actresses quickly became inseparable and they continue to cultivate a beautiful friendship, nearly 20 years after the show ended. Always close by the end of the series, Jennifer Aniston is even the godmother of the daughter of Courteney Cox, Coco.
Yesterday, February 27, Courteney Cox unveiled her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A ceremony in which Jennifer Aniston obviously participated. There was also Lisa Kudrow, the interpreter of Phoebe.
It is on the occasion of this distinction, and also of the film Scream 6 in theaters March 8, which Courteney Cox has granted a long interview to the magazine variety. In it, she looks back on the highlights of her career, especially her streak that made her a worldwide star. She said of this unique experience:
Friends have taught me the importance of camaraderie and not letting go. Those friendships were there at the most important time in my life, and we’ve been through so much together (…) It was so nice to work with people who could bounce off other people’s ideas. Everyone wanted the best for everyone. There was no jealousy, it was just, “Let’s make the best show we can and support each other through that.”
A remarkable scene
In this interview, the floor was also given to her great friend Jennifer Aniston. And the latter has revealed on this occasion her favorite scene From Friends with Courtney Cox. And she is a bit special:
There were a lot of them, but when we did the flashback episodes as young Rachel and Monica, before Rachel got her nose done, in high school in the 80s, it brings back good memories.
We can only validate this choice!
