Tom Cruise never stops

Nothing is impossible for Ethan Hunt, nor for his interpreter Tom Cruise. The Hollywood actor and producer could have taken an indefinite vacation after the huge success of Top Gun: nonconformist, but it’s not really the type of house. Conversely, Tom Cruise started the year 2023 the way he ended the year 2022: foot to the floor. While still recently in Los Angeles where he was honored at the PGA Awards, here he is glimpse into the Mediterranean Sea. On holiday ? Not yet, but rather to continue filming the eighth work of his great action and espionage saga: Mission: Impossible – The showdown part 2.

Shooting on an American aircraft carrier

As reported by the Italian media e variety, Tom Cruise was seen joining Bari on February 25th. He then flew by helicopter from the city’s airport to reach the United States Army aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush. She is present on the warship with director Christopher McQuarrie to shoot the scenes of M: I 8. A presence proudly confirmed by Antonio Parente, head of the Apulia Film Commission:

We are honored that the Puglia region has been chosen as the base of operations for this rather complex shoot.

For what could be the last work of the saga Mission Impossible starring Tom Cruise as the famous Ethan Hunt, we can expect a unique show and a trip around the world punctuated by thrilling adventures. And to have no regrets, Tom Cruise therefore seems to have inserted sequences on an aircraft carrier in M:I 8, as if the experience of top gun and of Top Gun: nonconformist it hadn’t satisfied him… Will we see Ethan Hunt take off from a flight deck at the controls of a fighter plane, in a final nod to “Maverick”? Yes please !
