Brazilian director exchanges soap operas for Hollywood cinema and invests in a zombie film in the Amazon

In an interview with CARAS, Alexandre Avancini, the general director of ‘Uga Uga’ and ‘Os Mutantes’, spoke about the challenges of American cinema

Former director of Globo and Record, Alexandre Avancini was behind the great successes of Brazilian television, such as The mutants It is The ten Commandments. It was in an interview with CARAS Brazil what Alexandre Avancini narrated his transition from Brazilian serials to American films. “Americans like to watch films in which Americans are living a new experience and they love the Amazon theme. The cast will be North American, but will feature Brazilian participation that is already known in the American market”, revealed the director.
