George López returns to television.
Fifteen years after its six seasons of ABC comedy ended, NBC has issued an official order Lopes vs Lopes A comedy that celebrates the reunion Jorge Lopes Show host Bruce Halford.
The series is described as a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection and all the pain and joy. López co-stars with his daughter, Mayan López, in the multi-comedy Universal Television, Mohawk Productions, Travieso Productions, Mi Vida Loba and 3 Arts.
Sisters Wolfe and Halford, who work together at ABC rosana Branch, to talk – wrote the pilot. In both executive products, Helford is linked to the supervisor. Katie Newman, Michael Rothenberg and George Lopez are also executive producers; Mayan Lopez is the producer. Also starring Selen Leiva, Bryce Gonzalez, Matt Schivel, Lassie Mosley (recurring) and Kieran Deol (recurring).
This is NBC’s third new series order for the 2022-23 season and the second to come out of this year’s pilot crop and join vantage jump To be continued.
