A new movie Alien in preparation for
20th Century Studios is currently preparing a new film in the franchise Alien. The studio recently unveiled the first plot elements. Second varietythis seventh work (if we exclude the two parts of the saga Alien versus predator) will be focused on “a group of young people in a distant world”. The latter will find themselves “faced with the most terrifying life form in the universe”.
In the cast of the feature film included shooting will begin on March 9 in Budapestwe find Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City, Transformers: The Last Knight), Cailee Spaeny (Easttown mare), Archie Renaux (Morbio), Spike Fearn (after sun), David Jonsson (Industry) and Aileen Wu.
Fede Alvarez at the controls
Director Fede Alvarez is the screenwriter, producer and director of the project. After evil Dead, Don’t Breathe: The House of Darkness AND Millenium: What doesn’t kill me, the director remains in genre cinema. Fede Alvarez, given his first two feature films, shouldn’t have any problems create a sticky and oppressive atmosphere appropriating the myth of the xenomorph created by Dan O’Bannon.
This new installment of the franchise will fit into the prequel series of the first four movies centered on Ripley, started by Ridley Scott with Prometheus AND Alien: Covenant. The latter is the executive producer of this feature film, which does not yet have a title or release date.
