Adler Entertainment today announced the arrival in theaters from June 9 of the Australian survival thriller GOLDstarring Zac Efron. For the occasion, the distributor also released the Italian trailer of the film.
Directed and written by Anthony Hayeswho in the film carved the role of co-star, GOLD tells the story of two homeless (the couple developed by Anthony Hayes At Zac Efron), traveling in the vast desert. On their journey, the two encounter a massive gold nugget, the largest ever found. How much could they earn on that piece of gold and what luxurious life could they live? Obsessed with the thought of the enormous treasure in their hands, the two devise a plan to dig up the nugget. While one of the two sets off to find the equipment needed to pick up the nugget, one remains to check it out and wait for him. The latter has to deal with the harsh climate of the desert, trying to defend himself not only from wolves, but also from other invaders. As he struggles to stay alive in the endless expanse of sand, he begins to think that he is left alone and abandoned to a cruel fate …

Synopsis:
In the not too distant future, two trumps (Zac Efron, Anthony Hayes) traveling the desert find the biggest gold nugget ever seen, and the dream of enormous wealth and greed will soon hold them. The two make a plan to dig up and recover the treasure, and one goes to find the tools needed for the business. Another man remains in the desert and is forced to face enormous hardship: hungry wild dogs and mysterious intruders, along with the growing suspicion that he has been abandoned to his fate.
