Maluma and his tribute to all women: “La Reina”

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Maluma presents “La Reina”, his song dedicated precisely to the ladies.

“La Reina”, according to the singer himself, “is an emancipatory song dedicated to women, transmitting through its lyrics and melody an inspiring message of equality to appreciate the true beauty that all women naturally carry, regardless of gender. age, sexuality, culture or physical condition”.

And to add: “I wrote it in a music camp and it came to me like a drop from the sky, because I had wanted to pay homage to women for a long time.The most important thing about this song is that the protagonist was not me, but these spectacular women were really and all the women around the world who will feel identified”.

The launch of “La Reina” is accompanied by its respective video, which was shot in Medellin, Colombia, and directed by Maluma himself.with Juan Felipe Zuleta and Cesar “Tes” Pimienta.

The clip highlights the beauty of 17 Colombian women who reflect a different personality and essence, as well as their own history: Yaneth Rodríguez Jiménez, Carmen Emilia Pulgarin, Angie Marquinez Montaño, Ana María Ramírez, Maritza Siagama Certiga, Diana Rodríguez Álvarez, Valentina López Rodríguez, Susana García Restrepo, Alice Barrada Castro, Alejandra Blanco Sánchez, Lina Loaiza Bran, Erika Medina Mesa, Silvia Rosa Julio, Martha Álvarez Ossa, Sara Llanos García, Marcela Vargas Osorio and Leidy Ocampo Quintero.
