Renfield : help in trouble
After notably being embodied by Tom Waits in the Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola, the famous vampire wizard created by Bram Stoker is played by Nicholas Hoult in Renfield. A horror comedy by Chris McKay (lego batman the movie, Tomorrow’s War), in which the protagonist is on his last legs, is no longer able to bear to bring fresh meat to the “lord of death”.
When he meets policewoman Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina) following a confrontation with criminals in which she displays exceptional skills, the servant reveals his secret to her. She then tries to get him to take her courage in two hands to tell her four truths to his master and break free from her grip.
Nicolas Cage freewheeling
If he was rather discreet in the first trailer, Nicolas Cage reveals himself more in the final trailer. Like the king of bloodsuckers, the genius of expressionism is having a field dayreprising some of his famous comedy impersonations kiss me vampire.
The inexhaustible protagonist of Rock AND Flip/Face is obviously the main attraction of the feature film. Even the movie seems to have it several gleefully bloody sequences to offeras well as an amusing complicity between Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina.
