Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York on domestic violence charges

Jonathan Majorsstar of Marvel Cinematic Universe and of Creed IIIwas arrested Saturday night in New York on domestic violence charges.

According to a statement from the NYPD, officers received a 911 call around 11:14 a.m. Saturday from a 30-year-old woman with obvious signs of violence on her head and neck. The woman identified herself as Majors’ girlfriend and the actor reportedly attacked her the night before after an argument at a Brooklyn bar. The woman did not spend the night with the actor and reported the attack the next morning.

A representative for Majors denied the allegations. “He didn’t do anything wrong”the actor’s spokesperson told Variety. “We hope to clear his name and clarify what happened.”

The police report reads:

“A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. The victim notified police that she had been assaulted. Officers took the 33-year-old male in custody without objection.The victim suffered minor head and neck injuries and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The police report features several potential charges including one for choking, attack And harassment.
