On Saturday, March 25, 2023, Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York after a call to 911. According to information from AFP, the actor is suspected of assault. Following a “preliminary investigation,” law enforcement officials determined thisa “33-year-old man had been involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman” and he intervened.

The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries to her neck and head. According to the New York police, her condition is stable. The nature of her relationship with the actorAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania AND Creed III it was not specified.

The plaintiff’s lawyer denies

The lawyer representing Jonathan Majors, Priya Chaudhry, said on Sunday 26 March that the woman had retracted and that she would ensure that she had not been the victim of wrongdoing by the comedian. Quoted from Los Angeles Timesthe lawyer stated:

Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and was allegedly the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We quickly collect and present the evidence to the prosecutor in the hope that all charges will be dropped immediately.

He adds that he is able to present video evidence from the car in which the accident allegedly took place. Several testimonies would also confirm the innocence of Jonathan Majors. According to Priya Chaudhry, the woman was in “an emotional crisis” which is why she was taken to hospital.

Authorities have reportedly released the actor. Jonathan Majors is due to appear before a judge on March 8, 2023.
