Neo Pistea returns with “Neo”, the brand new album with which he inaugurates a new stage.
“Neo” incorporates instruments such as drums, bass, and guitar, as well as sounds from other musical genres. In this new musical era, the collaboration with Tery Langer (Carajo) was key, as part of the group that participated in the recording of the album and that will accompany Neo in live performances.
“The songs were composed from the instruments, hand in hand with the rhythm. This album, unlike Punkdemia, has fewer trap resources and more elements from other genres. We have composed a lot with Leandro Coca on the pitch. With the band, everything was organic and natural,” the artist explained.
The album presents more rock sounds, danceable themeslike “Ancestral”, and more experimental songs, like “Intro”, a song written from the phrases of his son, or like “Interlude”, which is recorded with a 360º microphone and designed to be listened to with headphones.
About this new musical stage, Neo says: “All the instrumental changed on this album, we replaced the 808s with bass and drums. What remains is my essence in the lyrics, the presence of the codes, the family, the team.
