Suzume’s journey to a quiet city in Kyushu (a place located in southwestern Japan) began when she met a young man who told her: “I’m looking for a door”. What Suzume found was a single worn door located in the middle of the ruins, as if protected from the disaster that came to the area. Seemingly attracted to its power, Suzume reached for its knob … doors began to open all over Japan, causing confusion to anyone around them. Suzume must close these portals to prevent further disasters.
