Eminem is tired of Pete Davidson’s rap music video parodies.
During the season 47 finale Saturday night live stream On May 21, Marshall Mathers made another memorable cameo in the musical sketch, honoring the show’s producer, Lauren Michael. In a temporarily cut scene called “Forgot About Lorne”, Davidson sings of Lorney’s accomplishments in the 1999 hit Dr. Dre, “Forgot About Dre,” starring Eminem.
In the parody installation, Davidson -who last appeared SNL Eight seasons later, on set, presenter Natasha Lyon approaches her and says that Lauren is depressed because she always wanted to be in a music video with the 28-year-old comedian.
“That guy literally did everything to me, so I’m going to retaliate by shooting this rap video exactly as he wrote it,” Davidson tells Lyons, holding up a torn script he found in the trash.
The rap, then the video, begins with Michels dressed as Michaels, surrounded by shelves of golden statues, and follows the comic, dressed as himself, scattering poems about him. SNL The creator’s influence on the careers of comedians such as John Bellucci, David Farley, Dan Aikroid and Will Ferrell.
“And the great comedy? He’s been doing it himself for half a century,” rapper Davson said, reciting Eminem’s quick poem “Forgot About Dre.”
Davidson’s flow is interrupted by Eminem himself, who yells King of Staten Island Star of a close-up camera at the shooting range. A seemingly upset superstar rapper starts yelling at Davidson because he’s doing another hip-hop video parody.
“Is this another parody, is it another homage or something?” In question, to which Davidson replies that he is the third. ( SNL The star previously starred in Eminem’s 2002 hit “Without Me” and his 2000 classic “Stan.”
“I would,” Amy continues. “Yes, they are all smokers…please stop…it’s too bad.” Davidson tries to explain that the skits are to honor Matters’ music, but the rapper doesn’t have it. “Pete, don’t worry, do it again,” Eminem said, pointing at Davidson.
The comedian then looks at the character playing Michaels and yells, “You blew it!”
