In “Isla Mater”, Connie invites him to her space amusement park, where each song brings to life a different game in the park, which is named after this new album featuring 14 space-themed songsintergalactic, distant, unknown and at the same time intriguing.
Connie dreamed up the whole concept of “Isla Mater” in February 2022, when she started composing these new songs, as well as the audiovisual identity that surrounds it.
“Voyage” is the first extract from the album and marks the beginning of this adventure, where the listener receives the message that the takeoff towards the unknown is underway…
As well as “Isla Mater” is a concept album and somewhat experimental on a visual level, Connie sought the same on a sonic level, making a decisive decision to be able to explore this new facet: the guitar and the ukulele were forbidden in the composition.
In order to bring new sounds to life, she knew she had to get out of that familiar and comfortable place, which is why she decided to surround herself with different producers who nurtured her composition process, diversifying the palette of sounds. and colors, especially on the melodic level. .
