“We are what we were” is a ballad that covers the different types of love and the different stages of it, in a song that since its birth is on the way to becoming a classic of Axel’s career.
Recorded between Los Angeles, Europe and Argentina, “Somos lo que fuemos” was produced by the famous producer Cheche Alara (Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran and Thalía among others).
The video for “Somos lo que fuemos”, directed by Velen Asad, has the special participation of Celeste Muriega and Christan Sancho, one of the most recognized and beloved couples of the Argentine acting scene.
oh and more has the participation of Axel’s daughter (Águeda Witteveen)in what is his second participation in a video, since he previously appeared in the music video for “Todo mi Mundo”.
“We are what we were” will be part of Axel’s new album, due out in 2022 and which will take him on tour across the continent.
